MECHANICAL ENGINEER (PE)
Salary Range: $95,000 – $130,000 annually (commensurate with applicable experience)
OVERVIEW
Responsible for the design of HVAC systems across a variety of project types, including educational, civic, arts, and commercial buildings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design HVAC Systems. Perform design load calculations, energy modeling, and specification
- Mentor junior staff
- Conduct site visits and interdisciplinary coordination
- Provide construction administration support
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- 7-10 years of professional experience
- Strong Communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment
- Proficiency in Trace, ComCheck, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Experience in AutoCAD and REVIT preferred
MECHANICAL DESIGNER
Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 annually (commensurate with applicable experience)
OVERVIEW
Support the design and documentation of HVAC systems for diverse building projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the design of HVAC systems
- Prepare construction documents
- Perform site visits to verify field conditions
- Conduct interdisciplinary coordination
- Perform design load calculations and energy modeling
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of relevant work experience (FE/EIT preferred)
- Experience with HVAC system design and construction documents
- Proficiency in Trace, ComCheck, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Experience in AutoCAD and REVIT preferred
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (PE)
Salary Range: $100,000 – $140,000 annually (commensurate with applicable experience)
OVERVIEW
Lead the design and construction administration of electrical systems for building projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design power, lighting, and data systems and specification
- Mentor junior staff
- Conduct site visits and interdisciplinary coordination
- Provide construction administration support
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed Electrical Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia (7-10 years preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in building design for power, lighting, and data systems
- Strong communication supervisory, and team leadership skills
- Experience with AutoCAD/REVIT experience preferred
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (PE)
Salary Range: $95,000 – $130,000 annually (commensurate with applicable experience)
OVERVIEW
Lead the analysis, design, detailing, and specification of building structural systems for a variety of project types, including educational, civic, arts, and commercial buildings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform structural analysis, design, detailing, and specification
- Mentor junior staff
- Collaborate with multi-discipline team members
- Provide construction administration support
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed Engineer (PE) in the Commonwealth of Virginia (Civil/Structural)
- 5-10 years of professional experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment
- Expertise in the design and detailing of building structural systems (knowledge of historic building methods a plus)
- Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and RISA-3D preferred
STRUCTURAL DESIGNER
Salary Range: $70,000 – $95,000 annually (commensurate with applicable experience)
OVERVIEW
