Glenvar High School was reimagined from the inside out to create a state-of-the-art environment that is rooted in the local community.
Originally built in 1964, Glenvar High School underwent a renovation and expansion designed to meet the needs of today’s students and educators. Budget constraints required that nearly the entire existing building shell be preserved, but the interior was completely reimagined. Walls were removed and rebuilt to create larger, more functional classrooms, while new additions provided dedicated spaces for fine arts, a media center, and a cafeteria with kitchen—serving both the high school and the adjoining middle school.
To strengthen STEM engagement among younger learners, six new laboratories were strategically located near the middle and elementary schools, fostering early exposure and collaboration.
